Brent Kobashi, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF, currently working at the General Internal Medicine Practice at Sutter Street, and also at ClĂ­nica Esperanza, Mission Neighborhood Health Center. He is particularly interested in chronic disease management, quality of life, preventive care, patient-centered medicine and healthy aging. In addition to board certification in Internal Medicine, he is also credentialed with the American Academy of HIV Medicine.


He is involved in medical education and has an interest in educational innovation. His teaching efforts include working with UCSF third year medical students in the PISCES program and precepting in outpatient intern and resident internal medicine clinic.
