Purba Chatterjee, MPHPurba is the Manager for the Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP) in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. As Manager for the CVP, Purba facilitates strategic planning, program development, networking with collaborators, fundraising activities, dissemination efforts and relationship building with various stakeholders. Purba is also the Project Manager for an NIH funded Comprehensive Center of Excellence known as the Center for Health And Risk in Minority youth and adults (CHARM). Prior to this position, Purba directed the International Training and Education Center on Health (I-TECH), a collaborative project between UCSF and University of Washington based in Chennai, India. Purba has over ten years of public health program management experience. She has an undergraduate degree in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles and a Master's degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Purba has worked with HIV positive vulnerable populations in San Francisco, and internationally in Uganda and India.
Victoria ChenVictoria did her undergraduate degree in public health and gender studies at the Johns Hopkins University. She then worked in Taiwan for three years as editor and writer at an international publishing company before moving back home to California. She joins the Division of General Internal Medicine as program coordinator for PROF-PATH, a research and academic career development program directed by Dr. Alicia Fernandez.
