Drs. Maria Wamsley and Rebecca Shunk Develop Coursera Online Course
Maria Wamsley, MD and Rebecca Shunk, MD, worked with a group of faculty members at UCSF to develop a Coursera course titled "Collaboration and Communication in Healthcare: Interprofessional Practice." The course aims to introduce health professions learners to the fundamental principles and skills for effective interprofessional collaborative practice
Launched this week, this is the first Coursera course on interprofessional collaborative practice. So far, there are over 4000 participants from 17 countries on 6 continents.

Mike Rabow, MD, Named Helen Diller Family Chair in Palliative Care
Dr. Mike Rabow, Professor of Medicine at UCSF and Director of the Symptom Management Service at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, has been named the Helen Diller Family Chair in Palliative Care.
