Minority Training Program Featured in Pulse of UCSF
The Minority Training Program in Cancer Control Research and its founder, Rena Pasick, DrPH, Director of Community Education & Outreach at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, were featured in the UCSF news website, Pulse of UCSF.

Alka Kanaya, MD, Named Human Research Core Co-Director of New Nutrition and Obesity Research Center
Alka Kanaya, MD, has been selected as the Human Research Core Co-Director of the newly created UCSF Nutrition and Obesity Research Center (NORC).
A grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases will provide funding for the new NORC, which will be part of the Diabetes Center at UCSF.
