Health Care Disparities, Care of Vulnerable and Underserved Populations, Residency Training

Current academic and/or research activities:
Dr. Wheeler's academic focus has been on creating and disseminating curricula for medical students, residents and other health care professionals on the care of vulnerable populations. As a medical educator she has won awards for her teaching, curriculum development and her work in community health education.
