Richard H. Fine, M.D., graduated from Cornell University Medical College, interned at SFGH and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Fine is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and the Director of Quality Assurance for the Department of Medicine, and also serves as Director of Specialty Clinics for SFGH. Dr. Fine attends in the General Medical Clinic and his interests include the evaluation and treatment of hypertension, HIV health policy and public sector managed care programs. He is a past Chief of the Medical Staff at San Francisco General Hospital and serves on the executive committees of the hospital and its Clinical Practice Group.
