Research interests:Dr. Ling’s research focuses on how to improve tobacco control media campaigns and other tobacco control interventions for young adults, using the application of tobacco marketing strategies and marketing research methods to public health, policy, and clinical questions. Related areas of interest include young adults, marketing to women, global expansion of U.S. marketing strategies, youth tobacco prevention, demographic and psychographic profiling, social marketing, using market research methods in clinical and public health practice, media campaigns and health promotion for young people.
