The Northwest Regional Network Center at UCSF is the component of the Redes national coalition that covers Northern California, Nevada and Washington states.  The new Northwest Regional Network Center has been developed over the regional infrastructure of two previous NCI-funded programs, the National Hispanic Leadership Initiative on Cancer: En Acción (1992-2000 ) and Redes En Acción: Cancer Awareness, Research and Training (2000-2005).

Mission

Redes En Acción National Latino Cancer Network is a Community Network Program funded by the National Cancer Institute in order to bring together the most extensive collection of organizations ever assembled nationwide to collaborate in the fight against cancer among Latino populations.
