Cores

Administrative Core
The Administrative Core of the CADC is the central organizational unit that coordinates and supports the work of the Investigator Development, Measurement and Community Liaison Cores. The goals of the Administrative Core reflect the overall goals of the Center.

Investigator Development Core
The Investigator Development Core of the CADC has three components. First, we fund less experienced minority investigators to conduct pilot studies to investigate issues of aging in African American, Latino and Asian American populations.

Measurement Core
The Measurement Core works to clarify issues regarding how well various measures work in different racial or ethnic groups.

Community Liason Core
The Community Liaison Core has developed a community-based infrastructure that is exemplified by relevant and credible partnerships with community organizations serving older Latinos and African Americans and promoting programs in healthy aging.
